In Jakarta, the Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR), His Excellency HR Agung Laksono along with the Regional Representative for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Mr Robert Ashe, lead a special ceremony launching the Indonesian language version of the Handbook for Parliamentarians on Refugee Protection. Walk The World To Fight Hunger

This event was held in 3 cities in Indonesia, Jakarta, Banda Aceh, and Medan. In Jakarta, a dozen local pop groups, including Warna pictured here, donated their time and talent to celebrate "Fight Hunger: Walk the World" with a day-long concert in the Plaza Barat, Senayan.


Signing of the Country Programme Action Plan between UNDP, UNFPA and BAPPENAS
