Sun, 20/12/2009 - 06:00

Chris Clark, head of the World Food Programme;s logistic operations in the Aceh region, is optimistic that the improvements for the community made through the efforts of his and other aid agencies will be long-lasting. "People here are capable, knowledgeable and resilient and there's a strong work ethic," he said. "There's been a lot of change over the past five years. There's more vibrancy in the community.
